The Ambassador of Switzerland to Sri Lanka, H.E. Dr. Siri Walt, met with the Hon. Speaker of the Parliament Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne, at the Parliamentary premises recently (31).
During the meeting, Hon. Speaker expressed his gratitude for the support extended by the Government of Switzerland to Sri Lanka in various sectors. Discussions also focused on key areas of bilateral relations, including economic development, anti-corruption efforts, reconciliation, and enhancing parliamentary cooperation.
The Swiss Ambassador emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the two nations and reaffirmed Switzerland’s commitment to further assisting Sri Lanka in future.
