Attention in drawn to the Media Release No PE/2024/52 of 02.11.2024 issued by the Election Commission on granting leave to the State and Private sector employees without loss of their private leave or pay.
Chairman/ University Grants Commission has been informed to grant leave for the staff and students, enabling them to cast vote at the upcoming Parliamentary Election.
Private Universities and Higher Education institutions are requested to grant leave as appropriate to the staff and students in their institutions to enable them to cast vote at this election as well.
Names of the youth electors who are born before 31.05.2006 and completing 18 years of age, are also registered in the electoral register and therefore, the Managers and Teachers of Tuition Classes are requested to conduct tuition classes without denying the students’ right to cast vote at the upcoming Parliamenta1y Election.
