𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒓𝒊 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒂’𝒔 𝑻𝒘𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 : 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑
In line with Section 80(3) of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Act, No. 16 of 2023 (CBA), the Central Bank is expected to publish a report on the state of the economy during the Financial Year, emphasizing it’s policy objectives and the condition of the financial system, including a review and an assessment of the policies followed by the Bank.
In accordance with section 99(2) of CBA, the Bank is required to publish the financial statements approved by the Governing Board, signed by the Governor of the Central Bank and Chief Accountant and audited by the Auditor-General within four months after close of each financial year.
